The Lutheran Village At Miller's Grant Celebrates Active Aging Week With Conductorcise(R)

The Lutheran Village at MILLER'S GRANT will host a free session of Conductorcise® on September 25, 2014.

According to former Washington Capitols basketball coach Red Auerbach, “Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life.” And with Conductorcise® the soul can be re-energized.

The Lutheran Village at MILLER’S GRANT, a planned not-for-profit continuing care retirement community in Ellicott City, will host a free session of Conductorcise® on September 25, 2014 as part of its Active Aging Week celebration and Flourish programming. The program offers Howard County residents the opportunity to become an orchestra conductor for a day by training with the founder of Conductorcise®, Maestro David Dworkin, and enjoy an energetic workout for the mind, body and soul.

Conductorcise®, which has captivated people of all ages, combines classical music with an upper body workout to strengthen the heart, improve muscle tone and relieve stress. As part of the event, attendees will also master basic conducting techniques, improve listening skills and learn about the lives and work of great composers.
