Man Faces Murder Charges In Connection To Howard County Resident's Death: Police
A Baltimore man faces murder charges in connection to the death of an Elkridge man, according to the Howard County Police Department.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — A Baltimore man has been charged in the death of an Elkridge man March 3.
Dennis Lee Graham, 38, has been charged with second-degree murder, false imprisonment and first-degree arson in the death of 64-year-old James Sents Jr.
At approximately 10:30 a.m. March 3, Howard County Police were called to a residence in the 6000 block of Old Washington Road for a reported home invasion. When police arrived, they found a man later identified as Graham inside the home and smoke coming from a bedroom. Officers found Sents Jr. dead in the home. Graham was detained on the scene and later charged, according to the police department.

Through investigation, detectives believe that Graham broke into the residence and assaulted Sents Jr. Graham is also believed to have set a small fire in a bedroom that was extinguished by first responders, according to the police department.
Detectives continue to investigate a motive and whether the suspect and victim knew each other.
