Man Killed After Vehicle Crashes Into Tree: Howard County Police
HoCo Police believe a man experienced a medical emergency, lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a tree. He died at the hospital.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — A man was killed when the vehicle he was driving left the road and hit a tree Dec. 2 in Ellicott City.
The incident happened around 9:44 a.m. Saturday in the 6100 block of Waterloo Road. Howard County Police say the 2015 Toyota Venza was heading south when it left the road and hit a tree. The man driving the vehicle was taken to Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, police said. He has since been identified as 82-year-old Chang Il Woo of Elkridge.
The preliminary investigation indicates the driver may have experienced a medical emergency before the crash, police stated.
