Man Punches Ex-Girlfriend's New Beau, Has To Write Apology Letter: Howard Co. Prosecutor

A 23-year-old man who punched his ex-girlfriend's new beau must take anger management classes and write an apology letter.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — A 23-year-old man has been found guilty of second-degree assault.

According to the Howard County Office of the State's Attorney, Anthony Guerra-Extrada called the police Oct. 17, 2022, to report a suspicious vehicle without tags. The vehicle belonged to his ex-girlfriend, who had parked her car at her place of work. Guerra-Extrada approached the car while his ex-girlfriend was on a break and hit her new boyfriend n the face.

Guerra-Extrada has been ordered to complete anger management classes, write an apology letter, complete 40 hours of community service and have no contact with his ex-girlfriend, according to the Howard County Office of the State's Attorney.
