Merriweather Hosts Benefit for MakingChange

Over 100 supporters joined MakingChange staff and board members for the “Beer Tasting & Backstage Tour” at Merriweather Post Pavilion. The benefit featured tours of the pavilion’s newly renovated backstage.

The fundraiser included craft beers from Jailbreak Brewing, food, guided backstage tours and a DJ playing music from past Merriweather concerts. Proceeds support MakingChange financial wellness programs and services.

MakingChange provides group seminars and personal coaching to teach people to manage their money and change their lives. Its programs are offered in schools, human service agencies and businesses. For more information, visit www.makingchangecenter.org.
