Miller's Grant Golf Tournament Set to Tee Off

Third annual event to raise funds for seniors with need

Foursomes and sponsorships are available for the third annual golf tournament to benefit seniors with need at The Lutheran Village at Miller’s Grant. The tournament is scheduled for Monday, September 30, 2019 at Hobbit’s Glen Golf Club in Columbia beginning at 11:00 a.m.

Early bird pricing of $195 per golfer is available through August 16. There will be only one flight limited to 144 golfers. Golfer fees include greens and cart fees, lunch, on-course refreshments, golfer gift, dinner, prizes and contests.

The tournament is a Florida Scramble format with individual scoring in six divisions:

  • Men’s Open (49 and under)
  • Men’s Senior (50-64)
  • Men’s Platinum (65 and better)
  • Women’s Open (59 and under)
  • Women’s Senior (60 and better)

Prizes are awarded to individuals and teams.

The Lutheran Village at Miller’s Grant is a faith based not-for-profit continuing care retirement community in Ellicott City with 205 apartments, 36 homes, 20 assisted living suites and 12 skilled care beds off Frederick Road next to the Charles E. Miller Library. Miller’s Grant opened in February 2016 and is currently home to over 370 residents.
