Miller's Grant Names New Director of Facilities

Brings decades of experience

Richard Winslow has been selected as Director of Facilities for The Lutheran Village at Miller's Grant working under Sodexo Senior Living, an international provider of integrated food and facilities services.

Winslow is responsible for overseeing the buildings and grounds and related systems for the 50-acre campus including a preventive maintenance program, hiring and managing staff and contractors, developing facilities capital and operating budgets, and compliance with federal, state and local regulations pertaining to the physical environment.

He comes to Ellicott City from The Virginian Retirement Community in Fairfax, Virginia with more than 20 years of experience in facilities and facilities management. He currently lives in Callaway, Maryland.

The Lutheran Village at Miller’s Grant is a faith-based not-for-profit continuing care retirement community in Ellicott City with 205 apartments, 36 homes, 20 assisted living suites and 12 nursing beds off Frederick Road next to the Charles E. Miller Library. Miller’s Grant opened in February 2016 and is currently home to more than 375 residents.
