Mistletoe At Midday Makers Mart Planned For Nov. 21

The event will be held at the Robinson Nature Center from noon to 3 p.m.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Local artisans will be on hand with their personally crafted and sustainable wares during the Nov. 21 Mistletoe at Midday Makers Mart to be held at the Robinson Nature Center. There will be physically distanced vendor tables both inside and outside the center, organizers noted. The event will be held from noon to 3 p.m. instead of the tradition "moonlight" scenario.

Shoppers will find organic, minimal ingredient soaps and lotions, nature-inspired artwork, quilts, ceramics, woodcarvings and hand-crafted jewelry made of recycled and reclaimed materials. Some of the vendors on hand will include:

Art for Animals by GBAAZK (Greater Baltimore Chapter of American Association of Zoo Keepers) -paintings by animals and animal-themed crafts in support their non-profit whose mission includes keeper education and keeper-driven conservation initiatives.
Backed by Love - Original paintings, custom trays, earrings and coasters.
Cherapy - Therapeutic heat wraps.
Creative Animal, Fine and Decorative Arts by Stephanie Przybylek (available in Robinson's gift shop)
Dawson Distributing, handmade (squirrel-proof) bird feeders (available in Robinson's gift shop)
Experimental Design LLC - Artwork by Katherine Linton - original watercolor and acrylic paintings, handmade greeting cards, one-of-a-kind jewelry.
Exploration Delivered - Themed activity boxes and sensory activities for families.
Ginger's Mixed Media - Upcycled and natural/found objects jewelry.
Highland Concepts - Handmade wood products and carvings.
