Oakland Mills High School Partners With Fidelity Direct Mortgage

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Oakland Mills High School recently signed a partnership agreement with Fidelity Direct Mortgage. Under the agreement, FDM will coordinate with OMHS staff members to identify internship opportunities and offer a series of financial literacy workshops for parents and students on such topics as understanding credit, the homebuying process and investments. In addition, FDM will volunteer for and/or sponsor assorted OMHS programs and activities.

The HCPSS Partnerships Office has paired schools with more than 1,000 businesses and community organizations to enhance the educational experience of Howard County students. Partnerships benefit schools, businesses and the entire community by leveraging the resources of all participants. Partners may commit human or financial resources or other support.
