Oakland Mills Tunnel In Ellicott City Shut Down For Repairs

The Oakland Mills Tunnel will be shut down starting Nov. 13 for one to two weeks while the tunnel is worked on.

ELLICOTT CITY, MD — The Oakland Mills Tunnel will be closed to pedestrians and cyclists for the next one to two weeks while the tunnel is power washed, concrete patched and the inside primed and painted. Work will begin Nov. 13 and be carried out weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Informational signage and detour maps will be posted and available south of Summer Rambo Court on the pathway and north of the tunnel entrance on Oakland Mills Road by the sidewalk.
