Officers Remind Drivers When To Stop Near Buses: Howard County Police
The Howard County Police Department issued a reminder for drivers when they're supposed to stop near buses.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — The Howard County Police Department reminds drivers when they're supposed to stop when a bus is stopped. Not stopping means a $250 fine and all buses are equipped with external cameras to catch those who don't obey the law.
Law states that drivers must stop in both directions unless they're on the opposite side of a roadway divided by a physical barrier. The police department shared the image below to help drivers know when to stop.
