In-Person Athletic Conditioning For HCPSS Students Halted
Scheduled to begin Monday, conditioning has been canceled due to the recent rise of coronavirus cases in Howard County.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — In-person athletic conditioning for Howard County Public School System athletes scheduled to begin Monday has been canceled due to the recent rise of coronavirus cases in Howard County. Instead, school officials will focus on starting the winter athletic season Dec. 7.
While there will be no in-person conditioning opportunities at this time, coaches can continue to engage student-athletes virtually. HCPSS will continue to monitor metrics related to the coronavirus pandemic and provide regular updates should the rising cases impact the Dec. 7 scheduled start.
