There are a handful of pumpkin patches in Howard County with fun activities like hayrides, mazes, playgrounds and petting zoos.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — With Halloween right around the corner, people are looking for the perfect pumpkin to carve or to decorate with. For an authentic pumpkin patch experience in Howard County, Patch has compiled a list of some places where you can spend the afternoon enjoy this much-loved fall activity.
Many of the pumpkin picking locations offer a little bit of everything, including fall festivals and hayrides, mazes, playgrounds and petting zoos. Be sure to visit the website or Facebook page of each location to figure out what type of experience you're looking for.

Clark's Elioak Farm
Open through Nov. 3, there are pumpkins to pick, hayrides, pony rides and an enchanted forest.
- Hours are weekdays 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and weekends 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Also open through Nov. 3, there is a corn maze, mini maze, hayrides, nature trails and a pumpkin patch.

Pick your own pumpkins and apples, as well as go on a hayride or try the straw maze.
