Police Search Continues For Missing Ellicott City Man
Jason Blake Mabee was last seen early Monday morning in the College Avenue area. Anyone who sees him is encouraged to call 911.
ELLICOTT CITY, MD — Police are still searching for an Ellicott City man reported missing on July 23. Jason Blake Mabee, 44, of Ellicott City, was last seen around 3 a.m. the day before in the College Avenue area.
Since Mabee was reported missing, law enforcement checked local hospitals and shelters, areas near where he was last seen, near his residence in the Chatham area of Ellicott City, and local parks and other locations he is known to frequent, according to a release from Howard County Police.
During the investigation, police also learned Mabee possibly was in the area of Red Branch Road and Route 108 the night of July 23. Officers made extensive checks there but were unable to locate him, police said.

Mabee does not have his wallet or cell phone with him. His family told police they are concerned for Mabee's welfare due to recent health issues.
Mabee is described as a 6-foot 1-inch tall white male who weighs 200 pounds. He has a shaved head and facial hair. He was last seen wearing black athletic shorts, a gray T-shirt and black socks with no shoes. Anyone who sees him should call 911.
