Property Owners Could Be Impacted By Storm Water Pond Project In Howard County

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — A construction project to replace the principal spillway of an existing storm water pond next to 8250 Preston Court in Jessup should start on March 13. Weather permitting, the project will wrap up by late June 2023.

While the project is not expected to impact the flow of traffic, signs will be posted to residents of the construction work and adjacent property owners will be notified in advance.

The project is funded through the county’s Watershed Protection and Restoration Fund.
