HOWARD COUNTY, MD — The deadline's drawing near to purchase tickets for Historic Ellicott City's 50th birthday celebration.

Scheduled for Oct. 22 from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at All Saints Hall, St. John's Episcopal Church, the 50th birthday party will focus on celebrating all that Historic Ellicott City has achieved during the past five decades, including establishing The B&O Museum, the George Ellicott House, the Thomas Isaac Log Cabin, helping to fund renovations at Carrollton Hall located on the grounds of the Shrine of St. Anthony, and more recently, establishing the iconic Howard House on Main Street, Ellicott City.

There will be a silent auction to help raise funds for future projects, guest speakers and social time with hors d’oeuvres and beverages.
