Centennial Park Tree Lighting Rescheduled Due to Rain
Howard County postponed holiday event planned for Tuesday evening. It will take place later in the week.
ELLICOTT CITY, MD — Howard County Recreation and Parks officials rescheduled the annual tree lighting in Centennial Park, which had been slated for Tuesday night.
"Due to weather, Christmas in the Park has been rescheduled for Thursday, Dec. 8, from 6-7:30 p.m. at Centennial Park South," the Howard County Department of Recreation and Parks said in a statement.
The Howard High School chamber will sing at the event, where Santa is also making an appearance.
