Residences at Vantage Point Hosts Series on Planning for the Future
Free programs feature expert advice on living options, real estate conditions, finances of senior life, and optimizing your estate planning

Residences at Vantage Point is hosting a new Compass Seminar Series, including four informative sessions designed to help people plan for the future during retirement.
“Retirement Living Options” is set for Tuesday, Sept. 19, 1:30 p.m. Presented by Patti Hutton, Director of Marketing for Residences at Vantage Point, the topics will include:
- What are my options?
- What are the financial structures?
- What should I consider when researching senior living options?
- Important insights into how to make the best decision for you and your family
- What is a Life Plan/Continuing Care Retirement Community?
- Contract types, pricing options and how do they compare to staying in my own home
Karen Lawlor and Beth Ditman of the Wendy Slaughter Team will present “Selling a Home in Today’s Market” on Tuesday, Oct. 3, 1:30 p.m. Topics will include:

The third session in the Compass Seminar Series is “The Finances of Senior Living” presented by Mark C. Sauder and George Bradford of Merrill Wealth Management Tuesday, Oct. 17, 1:30 p.m. Topics will include:
- Tools to manage your income and assets
- How to plan for future health care costs
- How do know if you can afford to live at a retirement community
“Optimizing Your Estate Plan” is the subject of the Tuesday, Oct. 31, 1:30 p.m., session presented by Joseph Mathis of Mathis Law. Topics will include:

Residences at Vantage Point is home to over 250 residents. It was founded in 1990 and is a nonprofit serving people age 60 and above. Managed by Life Care Services, the community includes a variety of residential living arrangements from studio to two-bedroom deluxe apartments.
