HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Another budget hearing for residents will be held for the fiscal year 2024 budget cycle March 13 at 6 p.m. This year’s budget hearing will be held virtually and can be watched live from the County Council’s streaming website.
"As we continue to develop our FY 24 budget, we want to ensure it will be a reflection of our shared values and priorities. This hearing provides an important opportunity for our residents to offer input and make their voices heard. As we continue our recovery from the pandemic and combat the effects of inflation, we must continue to be responsible stewards of taxpayer dollars while advancing the programs that provide the best possible quality of life for all," Howard County Executive Calvin Ball said.
Now through 5 p.m. March 13, residents can sign up online to speak at the hearing by visiting www.howardcountymd.gov/budgettestimony. Speakers must sign up individually and one person cannot sign up for several testifiers. Individual testimony will be limited to three minutes and group testimony limited to five minutes.
