Rita’s Offers Free Italian Ice in Ellicott City Wednesday
Rita's will celebrate the first day of spring with the annual free Italian ice promotion.
Wednesday is one of Rita’s most highly anticipated days of the year—the first day of spring, which means free Italian ice for all.
The Rita's in Ellicott City, 9095 Frederick Road, is among those that will give away seven-ounce cups of Italian Ice all day Wednesday.
Last year during the promotion, the Rita’s chain gave away more than a million cups of ice.

The company is also encouraging customers to tag photos of their Italian ice as #ritasfirstdayofspring on Twitter and Instagram for a chance to win a year of free ice and other prizes.
