Rotary Club Of Elkridge Partners With HCPSS To Benefit Students

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Elkridge and Ducketts Lane elementary schools have partnered with the Rotary Club of Elkridge to support school initiatives and provide resources for students and families.

Under the terms of the partnership, the Rotary Club of Elkridge will supply volunteers and resources for school programs, such as Read-Ins where a guest reader reads to a class, Simulated Congressional Hearings and Career Day. The club also will work with schools to coordinate a literacy project and collaborate with staff to provide holiday meals and clothing for students.

The HCPSS Partnerships Office has united schools with more than 1,000 businesses and community organizations to enhance the educational experience of Howard County students.
