Santa, Tree Lighting, Carolers In Old Ellicott City Dec. 6
Old Ellicott City's annual Midnight Madness holiday event will be Dec. 6. There will be visits with Santa and a tree lighting ceremony.
ELLICOTT CITY, MD — Old Ellicott City will be bustling Dec. 6 during the annual Midnight Madness holiday event. Kids can visit with Santa from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Firehouse Museum at the corner of Main Street and Church Street. The tree lighting ceremony will begin at 6 p.m. at the Baltimore & Ohio Ellicott City Station Museum.
The outdoor holiday market featuring local vendors, food and live music will run 6 p.m. to midnight. The Little Elves Workshop will offer crafts and activities for kids from 4 to 7 p.m. Visitors to Old Ellicott City will enjoy strolling carolers and more festive activities during this much-anticipated annual event. There will be free park and ride shuttles at the following locations:
- Corner of Main St. and Church Rd.
- The Wine Bin (8390 Main St.)
- St. Peter’s Episcopal Church (3695 Rogers Ave.)
- George Howard Building (3430 Court House Dr.)
- Circuit Courthouse (8360 Court Ave.)
