Sensory Friendly Easter Event At The Mall In Columbia

The Mall in Columbia and The Howard County Autism Society offer families affected by autism spectrum disorders a special opportunity to enjoy the Easter Bunny in a private and controlled environment.

A Sensory Friendly Easter event will be held at The Mall in Columbia's Center Court on Sunday, April 13 from 10am - 11am. Children will have the opportunity to visit with the Easter Bunny before the mall is open to the public in a calm, sensory-friendly environment. Dim lighting and quiet speakers will create a subdued atmosphere in which to enjoy this spring tradition. The event features:

  • No lines
  • No loud crowds
  • No strong odors
  • Sensitive staff for special needs
