Howard County Executive Allan Kittleman, a recently appointed ex officio trustee of The Baltimore Museum of Art, has selected Sara Arditti, owner of Still Life Gallery Fine Art & Custom Framing in Ellicott City, Maryland, to serve as his representative on the BMA Board of Trustees. Her duties will include developing new opportunities for the BMA to play a role in the visual arts in Howard County. “The Museum is a great art destination and resource for Howard County residents. I am thrilled to be involved with the BMA. My new role ties in nicely with the mission of my gallery—showcasing local and regional artists and promoting the visual arts in our area.”
Of particular interest to Arditti is organizing field trips from Howard County to the Museum, which features free admission. The trips would include a docent-led tour, lunch at Gertrude’s (he Museum restaurant), and an opportunity to meet Director Doreen Bolger.
