Stormwater Management Detention Pond Project Starts June 22
The project in Ellicott City's Warfield's Ridge neighborhood is not expected to affect traffic.
ELLICOTT CITY, MD — A Howard County construction project designed to improve a stormwater management detention pond near 10544 Hunters Way in the Warfield’s Ridge neighborhood should begin on June 22. The pond will be graded to increase capacity and to achieve optimal water quality. Also, a failing pipe barrel will be lined and the corrugated metal riser will be replaced with a concrete structure.
Weather permitting, the project should be completed by mid-October. The project is not expected to impact the flow of traffic; however, signs will be posted near the project site to advise motorists and pedestrians of the construction.
