Students Invited To Hang Out With School Resource Officers This Summer

Howard County school resource officers invite students to join them this summer for the HoCoPolice Community Athletic Program.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — The Howard County Police Department wants to spend time with the youth of the county during the HoCoPolice Community Athletic Program.

Students can meet up with school resource officers this summer to toss around a football, go fishing, play video games and more. It's a free drop-in event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at various locations, which will be posted on the department's Facebook page.

This week, officers will be hanging out at the East Columbia Library Wednesday, Jackson Pond Thursday and the North Laurel Skate Park Friday.
