Subway Opening Postponed

A Subway restaurant that was on Main Street won't be making any sandwiches today.

There were some last-minute kinks to work out, according to co-owner Tayo Ibraheem. The restaurant may open Monday.

Subway will be the only chain restaurant on Main Street in Ellicott City's historic district.

This location will be a Subway Cafe, one of just about seven in the country. In addition to the standard Subway fare of sandwiches, this location will also offer baked goods and Seattle's Best brand coffee.

Co-owners Tayo and Bayo Ibraheem live in Ellicott City. They own three additional Subway restaurants in the Baltimore area.
