Meal Pick-up Guidelines Changed For Remainder Of Summer From HCPSS

The guidelines for free summer meal pick-up from HCPSS have changed.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Starting Monday, parents or guardians now can collect free summer meals to go for children who do not need to be present. Meals can be eaten off site.

Multiple meals can be collected on Mondays and Thursdays at HCPSS school locations only. Meals collected Mondays will include food for three days. Meals collected Thursdays will include food for two days, according to the school district.

Summer meals are available to Howard County kids age 18 and younger.

Reminder that there will not be a meal service when schools are closed Tuesday for the primary elections.

Meals will be served weekdays from 12:30-2 p.m. at the following locations:

  • Laurel Woods Elementary School, 9250 N Laurel Rd., Laurel
  • Oakland Mills Middle School, 9540 Kilimanjaro Rd., Columbia
  • Swansfield Elementary School, 5610 Cedar Lane, Columbia
  • Thomas Viaduct Middle School, 7000 Banbury Dr., Hanover
  • Howard High School, 8700 Old Annapolis Rd., Ellicott City
  • Howard County Library System East Columbia Branch, 6600 Cradlerock Way, Columbia
