Teens Sought To Serve On Howard County Police Department's Youth Advisory Council

Students in ninth through 12th grades are encouraged to apply for a spot on the Howard County Police Department's Youth Advisory Council.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — The Howard County Police Department's Youth Advisory Council seeks teen volunteers to serve on the council. Applications will be accepted through Feb. 12.

The group will meet monthly with members of the department and is open to Howard County residents in ninth through 12th grade.

Youth participants will earn student service hours, be encouraged to advise police command staff of concerns, attend free educational and social field trips, and gain life skills.
