Traffic Delays Expected In Savage For Roundabout Installation
Motorists should expect delays and lane closures at the intersection of Foundry Street and Washington Street in Savage starting Oct. 1.
ELLICOTT CITY, MD — Beginning Tuesday, Oct. 1, drivers should anticipate lane shifts and temporary lane closures at the intersection of Foundry Street and Washington Street in Savage. A mini-roundabout will be installed there and approximately 500 feet of pathway will be installed along southbound Foundry Street in an effort to improve pedestrian access and safety while hopefully calming vehicle traffic.
Construction will take place weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Flaggers and other will be on hand to help direct traffic.
