Traffic Detours Anticipated With Utility Line Extensions In Howard County
Public water and sewer services lines will be extended from a church property to the county's existing lines and will prompt traffic detours
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — A Howard County construction project to connect a private property in Ellicott City to the county’s public water and sewer services should begin July 18. The project will involve the installation of approximately 300 linear feet of 8-inch water main and approximately 240 linear feet of 1-1/2” low pressure sewer line in the vicinity of 10435 MD 108 to provide utility services to the New Path Reformed Church property.
Weather permitting, the project is expected should be completed by mid-August.
Signs will be posted and flagging operations will be in place to direct traffic, because lane closures and lane shifts can be expected during construction hours, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
