Two Rescued From Patapsco River: HoCo Fire And Rescue
BREAKING: The public is advised to avoid the area of the swinging bridge in Patapsco Valley State Park.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Two people were hospitalized after a water rescue on the Fourth of July in Patapsco Valley State Park. Officials said they were at the scene before 2:30 p.m. in the area of the swinging bridge.
Two people were evaluated and taken to local hospitals, authorities reported. Their injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
People were advised to avoid the area of the park near Ilchester and Bonnie Branch during the emergency response.

By 2:50 p.m., Howard County fire and rescue officials said they had cleared the scene.
