Victim Identified In Fatal Hit And Run In Howard County: Police

The victim involved in a fatal hit and run March 7 in Jessup has been identified by Howard County Police.

JESSUP, MD — Police have identified the man involved in a hit and run crash March 7 around 7:15 p.m. along Washington Boulevard.

Howard County Police were called to the area of Washington Boulevard just south of Route 175 Thursday. They believe a white or silver Ford F-150 Raptor was heading northbound on Washington Boulevard when it hit a man crossing the street just south of Route 175. The vehicle continued north on Washington Boulevard and then east on Route 175, police reported.

That man has been identified as Kevin Underdown, 65, of Columbia, police stated.

Underdown was pronounced dead on the scene and police do not believe he was in a crosswalk at the time. Anyone with information about the suspect vehicle or who may have witnessed the collision should contact PFC Holocker at 410-313-4752.
