Volunteers Needed To Serve On HCPSS Resource Reevaluation Committee

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Volunteers are needed to serve on the Howard County Public School System's resource reevaluation committee.

The committee consists of teachers, students, parents and community members who meet to review any materials requested for reevaluation.

Membership lasts for two years (2023-2025). All meetings will be held virtually and copies of any texts under review will be provided. Guidelines for this process are outlined in HCPSS Policy 8040 Selection of Instructional Resources.

Interested participants should submit an application by Oct. 15.
