Weather Decision Updated For Howard County Public School System

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Early Thursday morning, the Howard County Public School System canceled school in all buildings and through the Digital Education Center. All evening activities involving HCPSS students and staff are canceled and all community-sponsored programs in HCPSS buildings are canceled.

COVID-19 testing scheduled at HCPSS high schools was canceled. Instead, testing will occur from 11 a.m.to 3 p.m. at the ARL media center, 10920 Clarksville Pike, Ellicott City. The vaccine clinic at Centennial High School will be held Friday at the same time.

Wednesday evening, due to forecasted inclement weather, all Howard County public elementary and middle schools, including the Digital Education Center, were to start two hours late Thursday.
