Wegmans Presents Golf Tourney for The Arc

Wegmans will be the Presenting Sponsor for “Tee It Up for The Arc” golf tournament on Monday, Sept. 22, beginning at 7:30 a.m. with breakfast, followed by a 9 a.m. shotgun start, at Cattail Creek Golf Course in Glenwood. The tournament honors the memory of the late Gary J. Arthur, who was Howard County Director of Recreation and Parks.

Sponsorships, from $5,000 to $1,000, are available with recognition and other benefits. Tee signs are $250. Individuals can register to pay for $250; foursomes are $800. Breakfast, lunch, beverages, green fees and cart are included. Prizes will be awarded after the lunch buffet.

Since its inception in 1961, The Arc has become one of the county’s largest employers, with more than 300 staff members and hundreds of volunteers working to achieve full community life for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. It provides a range of residential, employment and family support services.
