"Wild and Unbridled" Art Show at HorseSpirit Arts Gallery
RANA GERALIS AND BRENDA KIDERA PRESENT "WILD AND UNBRIDLED" AT THEIR JULY 2016 ART SHOW AT HORSESPIRIT ARTS GALLERY
Maryland artists Rana Geralis and Brenda Kidera will both reveal their love for painting the intimate and subtle beauty of wildlife coupled with the strength and power of the horse through their oil, watercolor, and pastel paintings. The art show will run from July 10th-21st at HorseSpirit Arts Gallery, 8090 Main Street, Ellicott City, MD, 21043, with an opening reception on Sunday, July 10 from 4:00-6:00pm.
Rana Geralis was born in the beautiful countryside in Lynchburg, Virginia, near the Blue Ridge Mountains. She was exposed to the beauty of nature at a very early age, which later translated into her deep love and appreciation of the outdoors. Rana enjoys working in oil, watercolor, and pastel, and her most loved subjects are horses.
Brenda Kidera is a contemporary realist who paints landscapes and wildlife in her own backyard and in conservation areas, parks, and waterways across the U.S. She has a passion for the birds, animals, plants, trees, and waterways that she studies on her travels across the country and through the rural areas of Maryland where she lives. A keen observer who paints what she sees around her, Kidera captures moments in time with brushstrokes that convey the light and mood of a scene and show the exquisite details of nature's splendor. As she watches the landscapes that she grew up in rapidly disappearing, she hopes that her paintings will increase public awareness about our habitat and the beauty of the flora and fauna living in it.
