Within Reach Fest Draws People to Downtown Columbia

Downtown Columbia Partnership hosts music, food, craft beer and lawn games event

Approximately 1,000 people showed for the Within Reach Festival on Sunday, Oct. 17. Sponsored by the Downtown Columbia Partnership, the festival overlooked Lake Kittamaqundi and included five bands, gourmet food by celebrity chefs, wine and local craft beer and lawn games.

Designed to attract attendees who are “within reach” of Downtown Columbia, the festival was an opportunity to showcase new development, like The Metropolitan luxury apartments, restaurant and retail options. Clyde’s hosted a Beer Garden, and Tony Foreman of Petit Louis hand-selected wines served in the Wine Café.

The Downtown Partnership leads the promotion and advances the growth of Downtown Columbia as a vibrant, economically robust and desirable place for employment, entertainment, living and learning.
