Woman Assaulted, Robbed At Motel In Jessup: Howard County Police
A woman reported being assaulted and robbed at a motel in Jessup by two men who forced their way into her room, Howard County Police said.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — A woman reported being assaulted and robbed by two men who forced their way into her room at the Red Roof Inn in Jessup Tuesday, according to police.
The woman told Howard County Police that the men assaulted her, stole cash and other belongings, then took off. The incident happened June 25 around 12:15 a.m. at the motel, which is located in the 8000 block of Washington Boulevard in Jessup. No serious injuries were reported, police said.
In other crime news, a man told Howard County Police that a group of men assaulted him, indicated they had a gun and stole cash June 23 around 10:30 p.m. in the 5400 block of Harpers Farm Road in Columbia. He received treatment for minor injuries, police reported.

A suspect broke into a home located in the 13700 block of Triadelphia Road in Glenelg in the overnight June 23-24. The suspect pried open a door to the home and stole guns, according to police.
The Sunoco located in 9300 block of Baltimore National Pike, Ellicott City, was broken into in the overnight June 23-24. Howard County Police were told that a suspect(s) broke the front glass door and stole cigarettes and cash from the business.
