MIDDLE RIVER, MD — Body camera footage from the fatal September shooting of Sadie Holman, a 21-year-old woman from Odenton, was released Friday by state officials.
The deadly shooting occurred Sept. 3, when Baltimore County Police were called to the 1000 block of Carroll Island Road in Middle River about an armed woman wanted over an assault.
The Independent Investigations Division of the Maryland Office of the Attorney General said in its release that Holman was reported as experiencing a mental health crisis.
Holman was found sitting inside a car, with officials reporting at the time that she had handed over a knife to Baltimore County Police. Officers spoke to Holman for about an hour before the situation turned deadly.
Footage released by the IID runs just over seven minutes and picks up as a BCPD officer is talking with Holman. Video: Viewer discretion is advised.

"What are you doing? What are you reaching for?" Cpl. James Haddix says, seconds before an unidentified witness officer repeatedly yells out "gun."
Secondary footage released by the agency from the witness officer's vantage point captures Holman pulling a gun from under the driver's seat and racking the slide of the firearm.
Haddix, in response, immediately steps back and fires one bullet that goes through the back passenger window on the driver's side.
Additional footage showed Holman lying on the ground as an officer proceeded to do chest compressions after a tactical team responded to the scene.
The Banner earlier reported that Holman was a specialist with the 704th Military Intelligence Brigade at Fort Meade.
IID said the investigation into the deadly incident remains ongoing.
