Basset Hound Ramble - Tons of Bassets! Tons of Fun!

Basset Rescue of Old Dominion (BROOD) is having their annual Ramble on Saturday, September 6. Registration opens at 9:00 AM and water gardens walk begins at 10:00 AM. This year’s theme is Beach Blanket Bassets. While there will be TONS of Bassets attending, other dogs and their humans are welcome. Games include: Basset Bathing Beauty and Beach Hunk costume contest; Longest Ears; Best Howler; Best Kisser; Best Tail Wagger and Basset 500 Race.

Don’t have a basset? No problem! Rent one for the day, and if you have been pre-approved to adopt, maybe you will take it home with you!

Live Onsite Auction so you may bid on the unique basset items we will have -- artwork, lawn items, clothing, car floormats, a dog quilt, and much much more.

We will have lunch with beverage items and a hot dog and hamburger grill going this year. Also treats for the hounds will be available for purchase.
