Boatyard Blaze At All-Star Marine Under Control: Officials

BREAKING: Firefighters were called to a marina where multiple boats were on fire, Baltimore County officials reported.

ESSEX, MD — Three old boats caught fire at All-Star Marine in Essex Wednesday morning, public safety officials say. Environmental personnel have been called to the scene due to a fuel spill.

Fire crews were dispatched at 8:46 a.m. to the 2400 block of Holly Neck Road, officials reported. They found a pile of boats ablaze.

The boats were located in the parking lot, where a fuel spill was involved, drawing Maryland Department of the Environment and Baltimore County firefighters, officials said.

Approximately 10 Baltimore County fire crews were at the scene as of 9:45 a.m., and the fire was under control, according to officials. Nobody was injured.
