Boscov’s returns to White Marsh Mall with a non-profit gala preview!

One of the region’s most popular shopping destinations is returning to White Marsh Mall next month, and we’re thrilled to have them back!

Boscov’s is set to officially open their doors on Sunday, October 7, 2012.  But before the public opening, they’re offering you a chance to see their beautiful new location early on Friday, October 5th during the Gala Preview event.

While those who attend will certainly consider themselves lucky, the truly fortunate ones are the terrific non-profit groups who will benefit from Boscov’s reputation for giving back to the community.

All 501c or 170c1 non-profit organizations are invited to sell $5 tickets to Friday’s gala preview event.  100% of the ticket money raised will go directly to the organization. It’s that simple! If you work with or for a local non-profit, this is an amazing and easy way to raise funds for your group.

As an added incentive, Boscov’s will donate $1500 to the organization with the highest number of tickets presented at the door. Second highest will receive $1000 and third highest gets $500.

Advance ticket purchase is highly recommended, but tickets will be available at the Boscov’s exterior entrances on Friday, October 5, starting at 10am.  Persons purchasing tickets on-site will be asked to choose the organization they want to receive their $5 donation, from a list of participating organizations posted at the door.

When guests enter the new store, they’ll be able to take advantage of exclusive Grand Opening specials and savings while browsing the incredible selection of items Boscov’s has too offer. But the true highlight is what will be taking place in Boscov’s all new Community Auditorium. Academy Award winning actress and singer Shirley Jones (Elmer Gantry, The Music Man, Carousel, The Partridge Family) will be performing live at 2pm and 7pm. And the only way to see her perform, or to preview the amazing new Boscov’s location, is by purchasing a ticket!

Please note: White Marsh Mall Management Office will NOT be selling tickets to any of the Gala Preview events or activities. Tickets can only be purchased through a participating non-profit group prior to Friday, October 5^th or at the Boscov’s exterior entrances the day of the event.
