Kenwood Boys and Girls Track Teams Have Big Wins at First League Meet

On Thursday, The boys and girls track team took on Eastern Tech, Chesapeake, and Overlea in their first league meet of the year.  Boys and girls JV and Varsity teams came in first place at the meet.  The scores were as follows:

Varsity Boys:Kenwood 85, Overlea 84, Chesapeake 42, Eastern Tech 34

Varsity Girls: Kenwood 125, Overlea 55.5, Eastern Tech 37.5, Chesapeake 4

JV Boys: Kenwood 99, Chesapeake 62.5, Eastern Tech 32.5, Overlea 28

JV Girls: Kenwood 93, Eastern Tech 47, Chesapeake, 46, Overlea 16

Alyn Sankar winning Long jump, triple jump, 200, and 4x100

Shaneara Terry winning pole vault tying the school record of 8-06 inches

Brianna Best winning high jump

Rachel Bauer winning 1600 and 3200
