Track County Championships Equals Kenwood County Champions

On Saturday, the Boys and Girls track teams competed in the Dr. Joseph Hairston County Championships.  Many positive things occurred at this meet as the Girls Varsity team came in 6th place overall, JV Girls came in 12th, and JV Boys came in 8th.  Shaneara Terry became the first Kenwood Female Pole Vault County Champion in school history.  Alyn Sankar also became county champion in the Long Jump.  The team gears up on Saturday for the 4A North Regionals at Kenwood to defend their home track.
