Death Of Essex Man Under Investigation, Reward For Info Offered
The man found on the sidewalk was pronounced deceased, Baltimore County police said.

ESSEX, MD — Police said a man died at a hospital Saturday after he was discovered on a sidewalk outside an apartment near Essex. A neighbor found the man and called 9-1-1, according to authorities.
Howard Vermont Blevins, of the 1100 block of Sandy Stone Road, was pronounced deceased at 1:26 a.m. on Saturday at an area hospital, police reported.
There was evidence that Blevins had experienced upper body trauma, officials said. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.

A reward has been offered for information in the case of Blevins.
Anyone with information who may have seen or heard something in the area around midnight is asked to call the Baltimore County Police Department at 410-307-2020.
