Driver In Hit-And-Run Middle River Crash Located: Police
Police said a 3-year-old girl was injured in a crash in Middle River, and the vehicle and driver have been found.

MIDDLE RIVER, MD — The driver in a hit-and-run crash that injured a 3-year-old girl in Middle River Sunday evening has been located, according to police. Officials did not disclose the identity of the suspect and said more information would be released Monday.
Police said a girl was hit by a car around 6:10 p.m. when she ran into the street in the unit block of Right Wing Drive.
The child was taken to an area hospital with what was believed to be a broken leg, police reported. She was expected to survive the injury, according to authorities.

"Witnesses told police the driver initially stopped, stated that he did not see the little girl and didn't mean to hit her, then quickly fled the scene," police said in a statement.
According to investigators, the vehicle was described as a white four-door Hyundai Elantra with a sunroof and luggage rack with a partial Maryland tag of "3GA..." Police had asked anyone with information to call 911.

Around 7:30 p.m., police reported the suspect vehicle and driver had been found and updated info would be forthcoming.
