Children's Flying High Wednesday at Aviation Museum

The Glenn L. Martin Maryland Aviation Museum has announced August 8th for it's Flying High Second Summer Wednesday program, an afternoon of aviation fun for children 5 to 10 years old. The 4 hour event includes a visit to the Museum's aircraft, a hands-on activity, a tour of the Museum's exhibits, and a musical aviation lesson with Thirst 'n' Howl Musical Productions. As time is included for a lunch break, families should bring a lunch and a blanket or other ground cover for their outdoor picnic lunch time when they can watch aircraft activity in the sky. Children must be accompanied by an adult. The Program fee is $6 for children and $3 for adults. Parking is free. This event, celebrating its 7th year of summer fun, is provided in part thanks to the support of the Baltimore County Commission on Arts and Sciences. As space is limited, reservations are required. Registration closes August 3 and registration forms are available at the Museum's website.
