Appomattox, Sayler’s Creek, and Cedar Creek. His fascination with the Civil War began at a young age and like many, it was a teacher who perked his interest in the Civil War. He will discuss the daily life and mentality of a soldier of this tumultuous era.
Godfrey, a retired Baltimore County Fire Lieutenant and author whose book The Final Charge is a historical blend of fact and fiction about Mike and his friends Ray and Gordon who are sent back in time to the Battle of Gettysburg and soon discover they are on the enemy's front lines and are rounded up to participate in what will become known as Pickett's Charge.
