Floating Vehicle In Essex Led To Water Rescue: Officials

Firefighters were called to a vehicle that was floating in Essex Friday night, Baltimore County public safety officials reported.

ESSEX, MD — One person was rescued from driving through high water in Essex Friday night, officials reported. The Baltimore County Fire Department said that it responded to the incident, which was reported at 8:56 p.m.

One person was stuck in the 7300 block of Golden Ring Road while driving through high water, according to officials.

When crews were dispatched to the call, authorities reported the vehicle was floating.

Nobody was injured, and officials said the victim was rescued within 10 minutes.
